Bias Tape, or bias binding, is made from strips of fabric that is cut on the bias - on the cross of the grain of fabric. Bias binding is used because it will bend to a curved edge of fabric without kinking, and this makes it ideal to edge raw edges of fabric in quilting.

Buy as ready made on the reel, or a bias maker to turn any fabric into bias tape to coordinate with your quilt or project.
