1 - How to Contact Us

2 - Making a Purchase


Simply browse through our website using the navigation on the left hand side and links throughout the site. If there is a product that you wish to purchase, enter the quantity that you require in the box provided and click “add to cart”. Next to each fabric product there is an explanation of how each product is sold (i.e. per 1/4 metre) - this will determine what number you type in the “quantity” box. Furthermore, ensure you select one of the options if the product you require has sizing options (e.g. "fat or long quarters"). Once you have finished shopping, simply click “view basket” on the top menu or "view my cart" on the top header. Here you will need to either login as an existing customer, proceed to the checkout without registering, or registering as a customer. If you are not already a member, you will need to enter your personal details.  You will further need to select which postage and delivery option you wish to use, and if you have any credits to use, you can enter them here in the "credits amount" box.  You will next need to select which secure payment method you wish to pursue - Paypoint or Paypal - and then you will be transfered to the secure payment page to enter your details. 

After you have placed your order, an email will be sent to you confirming the details of your order. In the event of a product being out of stock, we will send you an email advising you of an estimated delivery date. If this is not acceptable, a refund will be issued.  You will receive a further email once your order has been dispatched.

3 - Out of Stock Items

If an item is out of stock, we will advise you of an estimated delivery date. You may cancel your order if you do not wish to wait, or it can be placed on back-order.

4 - Conditions of Sale

The product photographs are for illustrative purposes only, and an exact representation cannot be guaranteed due to differences in technical equipment. If you are looking for an exact colour match, we recommend that you email us with the fabric code to request a sample before you buy. We are able to send a maximum of 6 samples to each customer at any one time. Please note, that whilst we try to ensure that the swatch you receive will be from the same batch that you order, rolls of fabric do vary in dye lot, and slight variations in colour may occur.
In the event of certain items being out of stock, i.e. haberdashery, we may substitute those items for another of equal price and quality.
Each product will be carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure the goods you receive are in perfect condition.

5 - Credit Card Security

Please be assured that this is a secure website in association with both paypoint.net and paypal. Please select at checkout which payment method you wish to pursue. Any information that you provide is used solely to process your order, and we never store credit card details of any customer.

6 - Postage and Delivery


Our postage charges are as follows:

£0 - £49.99 = £3.95 (First Class - 2-5 working days)
£0 - £49.99 = £9.99 (Special Delivery - next working day on orders before 11am)

Over £50.00 = FREE Postage (First Class - 2-5 working days)
Over £50.00 = £9.99 (Special Delivery - next working day on orders before 11am)

PLEASE NOTE: We send our parcels via recorded post, and therefore your order will require a signature. If this is not convenient for you, please email us and we will send it via standard 1st class post. If a signature has not been obtained, then Royal Mail will leave a card for you to pick it up from your nearest Post Office.

Overseas delivery will be subject to a higher postage charge, as follows:

Countries outside the UK but in the EU: £14.99

Rest of the World: £19.99

We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible (the same working day for orders received before 11am and the next working day for orders received after 11am). For UK Deliveries, we use Royal Mail. First Class deliveries should reach you within 2-5 working days, but we suggest you allow 7 days for unforeseen circumstances (such as bad weather). Our Special Delivery Service is also provided by Royal Mail. We will dispatch orders received before 11am the same working day, in which case you will receive your parcel before 1pm the next working day. For overseas deliveries we use Royal Mail Airmail. Please note that overseas deliverys will take up to 14 days to be delivered due to the postage system. Parcels sent overseas are non-trackable and therefore the chance of lost parcels must be taken at the buyer's own risk. Please note that services are subject to availability. 

 

7 - Returns Policy


If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have 7 days after the day of delivery to return the product to us at your own cost, for either a refund or an exchange. To do this, please either email us or telephone us to notify us of the return. Returned goods must be packaged adequately to protect against damage. Please return the goods to: Fabrics Plus, 6 The Centre, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 1ED. Please note that only goods in their original condition/packaging will be entitled to a full refund.

8 - Fabrics Plus Loyalty Card Scheme

(1) Shop Online

At the Fabrics Plus Online Store, you can shop online at the same time as collecting credits with our Loyalty Card Scheme.

First, you will need to register as a customer to join our scheme and begin collecting these credits!

(2) Collecting Credits

Whenever you purchase a product from the Fabrics Plus Online Store, you will receive and accumulate credits. The credits that you receive equate to 10% of your total purchase (excluding postage). For example, if you spend £100 you will receive credits to the value of £10.00.

At the checkout, or when you login to your account, you will be able to view a running total of the number of credits you have accumulated.

(3) Spending your Credits

You are able to spend your credits when you return to the Fabrics Plus Online Store and make a repeat purchase.

It is up to  you how you spend your credits. Save them up to go towards a large purchase or use them towards several smaller purchases! At the checkout, you will have the option of how many credits you wish to use against your purchase. Type this amount into the "credits amount" page on the checkout page - please note: this amount will be deducted from the total amount payable on the next page.

Please note our terms and conditions for our loyalty card scheme:

  1. By joining this scheme, you accept our terms and conditions of use
  2. To benefit from the scheme, you must register and log in at the time of the sale - money cannot be refunded in exchange for credits after the sale has been authorised.
  3. Credits are unable to go towards the value of postage
  4. Credits cannot be exchanged for monetary value.
  5. Fabrics Plus reserve the right to cancel the loyalty card scheme by giving 1 months notice
